There is a $20 daily fee to park at the beach, or you can get a weekly permit for Eastham Bay and pond beaches for $70. You can get the permit at the Eastham DPW office.

Description: Somewhat of a hidden gem, Dyer Prince Beach requires a short hike through the seagrass lined paths behind the parking area. Located just north of Rock Harbor on the Eastham side, the beach and trails offer spectacular views of the bay and the boats coming in and out of the harbor. Crowds are practically non-existent, and there’s plenty of room to spread out and explore.

Eastham beach passes are required to park at town beaches from June 18th through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Passes can be used at all Eastham beaches with the exception of the National Seashore beaches (Nauset Light Beach and Coast Guard Beach).

Description: Brewster purchased that property for $20 million last November, along with the camps’ 66-acre Long Pond property in Brewster for $6 million.
The parking lot will be for residents only and vehicles will have to pass through a gate. Once 50 cars have gone through, the gate will be closed until someone leaves. The beach will be open 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with no new vehicles admitted after 6 p.m. The Recreation Department has hired seasonal staff to man the gate.
Brewster is planning other summer events for the public on the property.

There are two movie nights scheduled: one is Friday, June 22, at 8 p.m. and one Friday Aug. 5, at 8 p.m. The Council on Aging will co-host the movies.

There are two parking lots, three life guard stations, a bathhouse with shower and food service trucks in each lot. Beach stickers for non-resident parking can only be purchased with cash at the on-site beach booth. Residents can purchase stickers at the booths or at the permit office at 283 George Ryder Road.
