Description: Campground is a great bay-side beach. You need to work around the tides during the summer to make sure you can get a spot on the public beach at high tide, but low tide has room for everyone and is great for young kids to wander and collect snails, catch tiny tidal pool fish and build sand castles. High tide is great for playing, swimming, and floating. Good Times is the best ice cream truck and fun for a break from beach fun. Bring your nets, shovels, and pails, and have a perfect bay beach day!

Description: Clean, calm waters, perfect for families with young children. Cooks Brook Beach is great for exploring the sandbars at low tide. They seem to go on forever. Dig some razor clams, pick up a shell or two, and play with the hermit crabs. Great place for kids to experience some nature. And then go at sunset.

There is a $20 daily fee to park at the beach, or you can get a weekly permit for Eastham Bay and pond beaches for $70. You can get the permit at the Eastham DPW office.

Description: Somewhat of a hidden gem, Dyer Prince Beach requires a short hike through the seagrass lined paths behind the parking area. Located just north of Rock Harbor on the Eastham side, the beach and trails offer spectacular views of the bay and the boats coming in and out of the harbor. Crowds are practically non-existent, and there’s plenty of room to spread out and explore.

Eastham beach passes are required to park at town beaches from June 18th through Labor Day. Beach parking lots are free all other times. Passes can be used at all Eastham beaches with the exception of the National Seashore beaches (Nauset Light Beach and Coast Guard Beach).

Parking is $15 for the day, but you can get a week pass for a discounted price if you are renting in Eastham.
